Fatherhood Mentoring Program
Educational Services of Hampton Roads, Inc., in partnership with the City of Portsmouth Department of Social Services, sponsors The Fatherhood Mentoring Program each year. The program is free and open to any man who lives in the city of Portsmouth.

Foursomes Fore Fatherhood Charity Golf Tournament
Since 2020, ESHR, Inc. has sponsored the Foresomes Fore Fatherhood Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds in support for the Portsmouth Fatherhood Mentoring Program. Each year, 100+ golfers gather to celebrate and play their beloved sport for a great cause.
Aspiring Business Owners Project
In collaboration with Dollar Bank and LiSC Hampton Roads, ESHR, Inc. has launched an incubator program for aspiring entrepreneurs hoping to create local small businesses. This free 10-week course is designed to assist with constructing compelling business plans and pitches to investors.
Secondary & Collegiate Education Initiative
Established in 2003, our secondary and collegiate education efforts are dedicated to providing forums, workshops, training, and educational advocacy services to families in the Hampton Roads area. Special emphasis is given to families in need, specifically low-income, minority families, and those individuals who are the first in their family to attend college.
